To all the experts, I make my own Ammonium Chloride RBC lysis buffer and have pH problems (usually too basic) when it is mixed. Correcting it is not an issue, but I was looking for an easy way to spot check the pH without needing to breakout the pH meter. So my question is has anyone experimented with adding phenol red to the RBC lysis buffer? I was going to just try it and see what happens, but figured that I would at least consult all the experts first and see what their opinion was. Thanks, Brian -- Brian K.
