Fwd: anti-IgG

Hi Sheree,

As long as your polyclonal anti-IgG reacts with both the heavy and light chain it will
cross reacts with IgM.	The light chain are similar in all isotypes. So you must buy a
heavy chain specific reagents.	We had good luck in the past with those from Southern
Biotech. However we did not test their reagents against mouse.

I am in search of an unconjugated polyclonal F(ab')2 fragment of
anti-human IgG (H+L) antibody. I have tried Dako rabbit anti-human IgG
(Cat. No. A0423), Sigma Goat anti-human IgG (Cat. No. 027K4827) and
Rocklands Goat anti-human IgG (Cat. No. 709-1116), however these
antibodies either bind IgM or cross react with our mouse monoclonal
antibodies. Can anyone recommend an unconjugated polyclonal F(ab')2
fragment of anti-human IgG (H+L) that they have used successfully with
minimal species cross reactivity and that does not bind IgM.
