help needed with Mac print job on Cellquest

We are trying to print data acquired with CellQuest (not DiVa) on our 
Vantage and even though the page setup indicates our printer (an Apple 
LaserWriter 12/640 PS) is the correct printer, when we try to print, 
after a  few seconds, the error message "The Finder needs your 
attention.  Please select Finder from the Applications menu" appears.  
Although we haven't tried to print from our Mac printer in a while, I 
know it's on and working because it continues to print a trial.startup 
page every time we turn the computer on.

When we go into "Chooser" and try to select "Laser Writer 8" - which 
ultimately results in the Laser Writer 12/640 PS icon appearing on the 
desktop, the 'Create' button at the bottom of the "Select a Postscript 
printer" box to the left of all of the printer options including laser 
writer 8, is whited out and seemingly not working.  Can anyone help us 
with this?
