Hello all, We are currently considering the possibility of purchasing a new cell sorter for our facility. We do not currently have a core facility or dedicated operators for our cytometers, and operate primarily as a walk up. Understandably, this is not the ideal arrangement, but we have not gotten a good response to suggestions of a dedicated operator. As such, we would plan on training 3 users to operate the Aria II, and serve as dedicated sorters for each of their respective groups. All 3 suggested operators have solid flow cytometry background, and 1 has solid sorting experience as well, although not on an Aria. My question to the group is: Does anyone currently operate an Aria this way, and How well does that arrangement work? Thank you for your input!
