Dear flowers I would like to ask those of you involved in clinical immunophenotyping what the procedures in your labs are for authorisation of results of leukaemia/lymphoma immunophenotyping studies. We routinely have the results authorised by a technologist working on the flow cytometry bench, but have found some errors in interpretation recently. Are all results to be verified and authorised by a haematopathologist before being given to clinicians?
