Dear all, I would like to inform you about the MedILS Summer School '08 "Hottest Topics in Protein Research" that will be held at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences – MedILS, in Split, Croatia from 19th-26th of July, 2008. (http://www.medils.hr/). The workshop will be centered on protein research and will be useful to anyone interested in studying proteins. Topics that will be presented by the invited speakers include protein-protein interactions, protein modeling, QSAR, Y2H, signaling, protein chips methodology, affinity proteomics, MS, live cell imaging and confocal microscopy techniques. This workshop will try to present some of the latest approaches in protein research, in vitro, in vivo and in silico. It is intended primarily for PhD students with some lab experience, to help them see what can be done with their proteins, and how. The MedILS institute is surrounded with amazing Mediterranean scenery situated just at the beach and only few minutes from the city’s historical center, that can both provide an array of unforgettable memories and are a definitively worth of a stay. poster with the announcement link: http://www.medils.hr/lgs.axd?t=16&id=766 sumer school web link: http://www.medils.hr/Default.aspx?art=379&sec=242 kind regards on behalf of the organizers, Marko -- Marko Marjanovic, B.Sc.
