LoVo cell clumps : how can I avoid them??

Hello,

I have troubles with the LoVo cell line : I can't avoid them clumping.
I detached them using trypsin or EDTA. EDTA seems to work better but
still, I have clumps.
I tried to resuspend them several times, filter them, .... I can't find
a way to avoid detach the cells from each other.

This phenomenon brings 2 problems :
1) for the cell culture : they grow like "wine grapes", with small round
cells in the middle and well-spread cells on the edge
2) for the cell staining and flow cyto analysis : I want to get rid of
these clumps.

Does anybody have clues or hints to get rid of clumps?

Thanks a lot.

Julie
