I absolutely disagree with posting the identity of responders when posting summaries of replies. When I respond privately to someone's query, I may put in information that is not for general distribution. I always consider emails that people send directly to me to be private, and I would not disclose their identity without their permission. If summaries include attribution then a lot of people will be discouraged from providing advice; I know that I will be far more reticent to provide candid advice when responding in private. mr On Wed, Mar 26, 2008 at 2:57 PM, Jones, Norman (CDPH-CID-DCDC-VRDL) <Norman.Jones@cdph.ca.gov> wrote: > > > I might add that it would be nice if people would include the identity of > the responders when posting summaries. > > Cheers, > Norm > > Norman Jones > CDPH/VRDL > 850 Marina Bay Parkway > Richmond, CA 94804 > T: (510) 307-8527 > F: (510) 307-8601 > C: (510) 207-1492 > E: Norman.Jones@cdph.ca.govReceived on Mon Mar 31 13:38:00 2008
