Re: Suggestion (Identities of responders in summaries)

I absolutely disagree with posting the identity of responders when
posting summaries of replies. When I respond privately to someone's
query, I may put in information that is not for general distribution.
I always consider emails that people send directly to me to be
private, and I would not disclose their identity without their
permission.

If summaries include attribution then a lot of people will be
discouraged from providing advice; I know that I will be far more
reticent to provide candid advice when responding in private.
