What's better stimuli for monkey lymphocyte than anti-CD3

Dear all:

I am studying the inhibition of T cell activation with a fusion protein, and
compare its effect in different species with an in vitro culture system,
mainly with T cells from human peripheral blood and from Monkey peripheral
blood (Cyno and Rhesus). Anti-CD3 mAb in culture solution (0.1ug/ml) works
very well for human. However, only plate-bonded anti-Monkey CD3 mAb works
for monkey (as many friends here suggested to me), and the concentration has
to be 10ug/ml to get decent level of INF-r.

Is there any other stimuli, in culture solution, works better for monkey T
cells? I don't want to use PMA because it might stimulate B cells as well.
Then how about ConA? Any experience and suggestion on this? I appreciate
your reply.
