G1 synchronisation cell in suspension

Hello,
I have a researcher who wants to synchronize (in G1 phase) cancer cells 
(MOLT4) which grow in suspension without serum.
Does anybody have a protocol to do that? He tried mimosin but it was 
unsuccessful... maybe hydroxyurea could work?
