Hi Stephanie

We did some in vivo experiemnts with Macaques a few years back, it was probably
the Science paper to which you refer, is it the Mohri one?. The monkeys didn't
like the BRDU much, we had to put it in Gatorade to try to disguise the bitter
taste. Even then some wouldn't drink much so I wouldn't use any more than that.
I didn't have anything to do with the monkeys, I was responsible for the
staining and analysis of the blood. If you want any technical information about
that let me know.

Best of luck
Simon

ps Gatorade is a brighty coloured sweet fluid found in the USA.
