Simona, It occurred to me as soon as I sent my first reply that I had it slightly wrong. The solenoid valve that controls the suction of the nozzle (which is the one I suspect is clogged) switches open as soon as you go to "Fill"; the "Nozzle Flush" push button only turns off the sheath flow. Once you identify the clogged solenoid, you may try to flush it clear while the fluidics switch is in the "Fill" position; don't worry about the push button. Further, while I suspect that the valve controlling the suction is at fault in your case, it may also be that the valve responding to the "Nozzle Flush" push button is stuck in the open position and is not fully turning off the sheath. We have had that problem as well but my guess is that the suction valve is more likely the cause of your problem. > I have a problem with Fill and nozzle flush on Facs Vantage SE + > turbo optional > I work at 20 PSI and when the nozzle is clogged I put on fill and I > push the bottom nozzle flush, but the stream go to back very slowly > and is not enough to clean the nozzle. > This happen also when the nozzle is not clogged!! > Frank Battye. | | < Frank Battye PhD \__/ <<<<< The Walter & Eliza Hall Institute ------!!<<<<<<<< Post Office, Royal Melbourne Hospital /!!\ <<<<< Victoria 3050, Australia o !! \ < ph: 61_3_9345 2541, fax: 61_3_9347 0852Received on Mon Dec 19 13:38:00 2005
