haploid/diploid

Hi Flow'ers,

I've got a researcher who wants to look at ploidy in bird eggs. I was thinking
of using bird sperm (easy to get hold of I'm told!!!), as a haploid control.

Has anyone got any axperience in fixing sperm and staining there after (I was
going to try PI).
