Hello, I have used both the EPICS and the FACS Calibur for some pretty creative bacteria work. Both work fine. Pick your flavor! It works very well. We trigger on log SSC. WE have never found it necessary to use a fluorescence trigger as we can always resolve the bacteria by scatter.
