The following post is from a commercial entity (Invitrogen/Molecular Probes) but not advertising any products or pitching any sales. I would just like to draw the list member's attention to a new educational resource hosted on the Molecular Probes section of the Invitrogen Web site. This is a series of educational tutorials that we will be expanding in the coming months covering various aspects of fluorescence technologies. These are targeted for general educational use and provide a good introduction to new or casual uses of fluorescence reagents and technologies. Currently 3 tutorials are available, Basic Introduction to Fluorescence, Interpreting Fluorescence Spectra and Basic Light Sources and Filters. http://probes.invitrogen.com/resources/education/ As I said we will be adding to these as time goes on but we'd be happy to hear about any topic area's that seem appealing for this format. We'd also be happy to hear any comments. suggestions or feedback you may wish to give. Note: These are designed to run in Flash so you may need to download and install a Flash player for them to work. Please contact Ian Clements with questions or comments.
