UPS Do you use them to protect your cytometer

Hi,

This question is aimed primarily at Australian list members.

I have asked by my supervisor to do a poll of how many flow labs protect their cytometers with UPSs, or voltage filters.

I am located in Brisbane and the Mater Hospital scored 5 lightning strikes in one storm last weekend.  Thankfully, my lab was unaffected, but I think the money would be wisely spent to protect at least the Aria and the LSR II, if not the Calibur.
