Colleagues:
Just to bring you up to date on some new thngs:

Hope you have enjoyed the new ISAC website!! - Dr. Bartek
Rajwa (webmaster@isac-net.org) is the new editor - Greg
Moore has been doing site development - ISAC is trying to
make this site somewhere you will constantly visit. Many
companies are already sponsoring the site -- let us know if
your company wishs to sponsor. ISAC is moving forward
steadily but surely. We do listen to your needs as members
( ...tvs message received!).

The address is
http://www.isac-net.org
as it always has been. There will gradually be more and
more educational, core lab issues, safety issues posted.
Committee documents will be available, council meeting
minutes, and other documents. It's updated daily!! There are
links to current science news, public policy, science
business. Company press releases are posted daily.

Remember Howard Shaprio's great cytometry text??
You can get access to Howard's entire book by going to:
http://tinyurl.com/ab274
which is a direct access to Invitrogens registration page
(your name and email are required).

Finally, the ISAC congress 2006 - you will be hearing about
abstract submission soon - I will let you into an unpublished
secret, but don't tell anyone please- the deadline for oral
presentation abstracts will be somewhere between
November 9 and 11......most of you will get the message
that you should be writing your abstracts NOW!!!
Information will go up on the congress website about
abstract submission deadlines soon.
http://www.isac2006.com

For companies interested in participating in the congress-
information has already been posted at the same address.

Oh - it seems that there are about 60% of this list are not
ISAC members!! Here's the deal - Join ISAC and save
yourself $160 for congress registration......and remember,
all this good stuff you get for nothing on these websites is
driven by ISAC members - please consider joining ISAC
and participating in the meeting.

Best wishes
