1. Annual Conference of the German Society for Cytometry

Dear colleagues,

The date of the 14th Annual Conference of the German Society for Cytometry
is approaching. The Deadline for the Abstract submission is over now and we
are happy to present the scientific program on the web-site of the DGfZ at
www.dgfz.org.

We also proudly inform you that this meeting has been accredited by the
Sächsische Landesärztekammer (SLAEK 3508-05) (www.slaek.de). Participants of
the whole meeting receive 25 accreditation points.

All of you who will give a lecture or present a poster should immediately
register on the web-site if they did not do so already. If you have
co-authors, please inform us who will give the lecture. Of course all people
without lectures or posters are invited to come to the conference.

Do not forget to pre-register for the tutorials www.dgfz.org.

***** For speakers and poster presenters *****

Keynote lectures
All key-note lectures have a length of 30 Minutes including discussion.

Oral Presentation
Overall time for an oral presentation is 15 Minutes including discussion.
Due to the tight time frame all speakers have to stick strictly to the time.
Use Microsoft PowerPoint for your presentation. It is preferable that you
send your presentation to as an E-mail attachment at latest until October
14. Bring your presentation also on a CD or a USB-data stick. Use of own
laptop will not be supported.

Poster Presentation
Poster size is 90cm x 120cm. Poster hanging is Wednesday 19, from and
Thursday during the brakes. Poster presentation is on Thursday 20, from
17.30pm - 19.30pm.


*****Special Program*****

There will be several special programs and dates that we want to draw your
attention to:
1) Wednesday 19: Opening Keynote lectures and a reception afterwards at the
Kubus. All tutors and participants of tutorials should attend. You will
receive the final programs and get advice. (Open to all with registration)
2) Thursday 20: Banquet and post-banquet party with bar and dancing (Open to
all with registration).
3) Friday 21: Sight seeing tour in Leipzig. (Limited space; register in time
at the registration desk. Price not included in the registration)
3) Friday 21: Dinner at the world famous "Auerbachs Keller". (Limited space;
register in time at the registration desk. Price not included in the
registration).
