Hello everybody, I have been analysing cell cycle with FACSCAN by staining methanol-permeabilized fibroblasts with propidium iodide. When comparing cells grown in the presence of serum with those without serum, besides expected changes in % cells in Go-1 vs S-G2-M I found a global decrease in FL2 fluorescence in samples of cells grown with serum. Does anybody know why this may be happening?
