I've tried the anti-FoxP3 antibody from abcam for flow cytometry but without success. The supplier could not offer any sensible suggestions beyond what we had already tried. My colleague tried to contact the person who had produced the antibody but did not get a reply. The same colleague reported back from the T-regulation meeting run by Novartis that no commercial antibodies had successfully been used for flow cytometry. A non-commercial antibody from another group did work however and I would love to know whether this will be available in the future. If you were thinking of trying the abcam antibody, I hope this saves you some time and money.
