lacZ detection other than FDG?

Dear flowers:

We want to use FACS to detect b-galactosidase activity from cells of
Rosa mice(lacZ transgenic). Our problem is that we are using GFP cells
at the same time, so FDG or anything that emit green fluorescence won't
be a choice for us. We've tried ImaGene Red from Molecular probe, but
the background was so high and we were never successful with it. Since I
could not find more references to that product, I assume that most
people used that had no success with it either. I've came across with
another lacZ substrate named DDAO from molecular Probe, but the
reference used it for in vivo imaging instead of flow. May I ask if
anyone had any experience of DDAO for flow? Or any suggestion of other
alternatives for our experiment?

Your input would be greatly appreciated.
