Without getting into lengthy bio-safety issues again, can anyone tell me if there is a reason why we should not fix these cells? He claims on the last experiment where I had him fix the cells, he did not get good results. (Cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldahyde. The product insert indicates fixing is acceptable.) My suggestion would be to run the cells live next time, and if there is sample left over, fix it and run it the next day. Then you will have the experiemtnal evidnce for fixation, provided it actually is ok for these cells and this assay system. regards, Tom **************************************************************************** * Thomas W.
