Hello all, While this question is not directly related to flow cytometry, I am hoping that the collective experience of the group may be able to help us come up with a solution. We are using tissues from transgenic GFP mice transplanted into non-GFP sisters, and wish to visualize any cellular metastises that occur. The commercially available illumination sources are relatively expensive (>$2000), so we are looking to construct our own light source, probably with either LED's or filters attached to a halogen light source. Any comments/suggestions or alternatives would be greatly appreciated.
