Kate,
	You have found the achilles heel of this instrument. Sounds like your 
worm gear, and other lifter components needs a good cleaning along with 
some light lubrication. It's been my experience that Teflon type 
lubricants work best. After changing the lifter motor, there are some 
adjustments that can be tricky for someone trying to do this for the 
first time. There are also some settings in the Loader manager software 
which may be adjusted to the lifter parameters. While I am eager to 
visit your part of the world, it might be easier for you to send us the 
loader drawer for repair. If you would like more info. please feel free
