size-different particle with same fluorescent intensity

Hi all:

IF size-different particles but with same fluorescent intensity can display 
same MFI in single histogram? If the size are double,or the MFI will be 
doubled?

I think it will be the same if on linear signal histogram,but it will be 
very different on log signal histogram.
