Dear all, One of our PI is looking in to analyzing and possibly sorting nematode eggs and larvae. The eggs diameter could be up to 120 x 60 microns and the larvae size is around 300-400 microns x 60. Ideally an instrument with 2-3 colors capability and the possibility of sorting on different fluorescence intensity would do for us. Our FACSCalibur unfortunately is not up to this challenge. Is there anybody in Scotland or North of England that has such instrument and would be interested in collaborating or provide the service? The investigator is also considering buying such instrument. I had a look, both in the archives and on the web, and I have a vague idea now of what we should look for. But I would really like to have the opinion of people that are involved in similar work on which instrument would be the more appropriate.
