Dear Fellow Flow-ers, I just wanted to pass this around to anyone who may be interested in flow cytometric scoring of micronuclei or high-throughput DNA damage determination. We at Litron are developing a new method that allows one to do just that in the in vitro micronucleus assay. An adaptation of Michael Nusse's processes, this method takes advantage of a sequential staining technique to overcome the challenge of spurious events due to apoptosis. Dr. Steve Dertinger, who worked diligently on the in vivo MN flow project, presented some of the results at this yearıs EMS meeting here in the U.S. We are looking for other laboratories that would be interested in helping to develop this project. Anyone who would like more info, please feel free to drop me a note anytime. Best wishes! ------------------------- Thomas Heiple Litron Laboratories 1351 Mount Hope Avenue Rochester, New York 14620 tel: (+1) 585-442-0930 fax: (+1) 585-442-0934 theiple@litronlabs.com www.LitronLabs.comReceived on Wed Dec 8 14:38:00 2004
