FTP Information

For file transfer, FTP is preferred. If you have multiple directories, please send your files as a zip archive with the directory structure preserved.

To FTP:

• Connect to ftp.cyto.purdue.edu
• Login as anonymous
• Your email as password
• Change directory to upload (cd upload)
• Use binary mode (bin)
• If you have trouble connecting with your FTP client, turn off PASV mode.
• "Put" your files - NOTE: For security reasons you will NOT be able to see your files !!
• Inform us that you have sent it (Best way is to fax or email the submission form)
• We will confirm within 3 working days. If you don't hear from us, please resend and renotify.
